Here, the suit of Wands is stilled called the suit of Wands, but is illustrated with traditional Chinese hair pins. I’m not sure whether divinatory uses for the deck was intended. In typical Marseille-inspired tarot decks, even with un-illustrated pips, the formation of the suit icons tend to be deliberate, intended to evoke certain intuitive messages. Here, I don’t get the sense that much metaphysical thought was given to the formation of the suit icons.
